When you use our mobile application (the "App"), we appreciate that you are trusting us with your information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this privacy notice, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.
Local Data Storage: RedeLore is built with a "local-first" philosophy. Your book files (PDF/EPUB) are stored entirely on your local device. However, when you create an account, we synchronize certain data to the cloud to improve your experience.
Account Information: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we collect your unique User ID (UID), name, and email address via Firebase Authentication.
Reading Data & Synchronization: Your reading streaks, total reading time, and progress are stored in our Firebase Firestore servers to enable cross-device synchronization and the Leaderboard feature.
Third-Party Services:

Your personal reading data is not sold to third parties. However, when you participate in the Leaderboard, your username and reading statistics will be visible to other users. Infrastructure providers like Firebase and RevenueCat handle your data according to their own privacy policies.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services. When you delete your account, your cloud-stored data will also be deleted.
We use Firebase's industry-standard security infrastructure to protect your personal information. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
You have full control over your data. You can request data deletion or close your account at any time through the app settings. For any questions, please contact us.
Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws and new features. Any significant changes will be notified within the App.
